Our Policies/ FAQ

SANITIZATION AND DISINFECTION PROTOCOLS:

  • We use soap, 70% alcohol solution, 10% bleach solution, Lysol spray, and medical grade CaviCide spray and wipes to sterilize out pedicure station sinks, seats, backrest, and pillows. The same disinfectant is used on our manicure stations.  

  • All our services are pulled longer to reduce any additional traffic inside the salon.

  • Our tools are all stainless steal which can be sterilized after soaking in 70% alcohol for 20min and being placed in the sterilizer for an additional 20min. Files, buff, sanding bits, toe separators and slippers are all disposable, a new set will be used for each client.

  • Clients are asked to sanitize their hands once entering the salon. Hand sanitizers are placed at each manicure station. A hand sanitizer is placed at the polish wall for clients or staff to use once touching any of the polishes. There are sanitizer in the bathrooms, backrooms, and hallways as well for clients to use.

  • PLEASE NOTE: If you refuse to follow any of our rules and protocols when inside the salon, we will have the right to refuse service and ask you to leave. 

HOW TO BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT:

  • If you currently have shellac, dip, or any artificial nails, please book for a removal as it requires additional time to remove the prior set of nails/polish properly.

  • If you would like nail extensions or gel/shellac on your nails, please book for extensions or shellac in addition to the service you require

  • PLEASE NOTE: Solar powder gel is refillable and Dipping powder is NOT refillable, you must book a dip/artificial removal every appointment to have them redone.

 

BOOKINNG PARTIES OF TWO OR MORE:

  • To ensure your party is seated side by side for the same time slot, please email info@ivybeautybar.com or call us at 613 492 0083 to specify.

  • We will require the names of every guest attending, the respective service(s) (including add-ons), and specific technician requests.

  • PLEASE NOTE: For booking parties of 5 or more we require a 20% deposit for the total value of services to hold the time slot. The deposit will be discounted from your final bill.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY (5+ people): If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us at least 72 hours prior to the date of your appointment to have the deposit refunded. Cancellations after the 72 hour mark will result in the deposit becoming non-refundable. If you are looking to re-book, we will require an additional 20% deposit.

BOOKING DESIGNS:

  • If you would like a nail design, please book for a design in addition to the service as it requires more time to complete the service.

  • If you require guidance on how to properly book the design, please send us an email (info@ivybeautybar.com) or a message on Instagram or Facebook (@ivybeautybar) with a photo or nail inspo of your desired design.

  • If you did not book a nail design as part of your appointment and would like one the day of, please discuss with the front desk to see if there is time to do so.

  • We will do our best to try and accommodate your needs. If our schedule is fully booked, you may come back another day to do the design.

 

LATE AND NO SHOWS:

  • In respect to our other booked clients of the day, if you are more than 15 minutes late for your service, your service will be shortened and/or cancelled.

  • If we feel your service is unable to be completed within the shortened time we will have to reschedule.

  • If you are running behind, please call us at 613 492 0083 as soon as possible so that we can try our best to accommodate you.

  • PLEASE NOTE: if you have 3 or more "no shows", your profile will be blocked from our online booking system and you will only be able to book appointments by calling the salon. You will get email/ text notification to confirm your appointment. We will call you a day in advance to confirm your appointment. You must pick up or call us back before end of day to confirm you are going to arrival at your appointment, if you do not confirm back with us, your appointment will be cancelled and filled.

  • At IVY Beauty Bar, we ONLY accept the following payment transactions:

  • TIPS are CASH ONLY

  • The closest ATM is TD Bank, located right next door in the same plaza.

NAIL WARRANTY: 

  • Please note we only fix nails with NO CHARGE within the first week.

  • Anything after the first week will be a charged and price will vary depending on how many fingers need to be fixed.

  • Please call 613 493 0083 or email us info@ivybeautybar.com within the first week if a fix is needed to prevent any charge.

  • Please Note that we do not offer refunds at IVY BEAUTY BAR INC. If you have any questions or concerns please send us an email we will be more then happy to help.
